Revenue has warned of a text scam in which personal information from taxpayers in connection with a tax refund or seeking credit/debit card details is being requested in messages purporting to come from Revenue. Revenue never sends emails or text messages seeking for personal information to be sent via email, text or pop-up windows. Anyone who suspects they have received a fraudulent, or a scam message should delete it. See the Revenue website for more details.
